Limits to know before using it
Cards are approximations, not previews from the platforms themselves. Their caches, crawler access and cropping rules can produce different results.
Data handling and cost
The submitted target and parameters are sent to the server for processing. Job inputs and results can be stored as part of the service workflow; the tool uses a session to associate jobs and credits with you. See the privacy policy for details.
Each successful run uses 1 credit. Guest trials depend on your available allowance; register or sign in when it runs out. Failed jobs follow the service refund rules.
Frequently Asked Questions
It renders preview cards for Facebook, Twitter/X, and LinkedIn using the Open Graph and Twitter Card metadata found on the page. The cards are approximations — exact rendering varies by platform version.
Each platform crops images differently. Facebook and LinkedIn prefer 1200×630 px (1.91:1 ratio). Twitter summary_large_image works best at 1200×600 px. Use Image Resizer or OG Image Generator to produce the right dimensions.
Link Preview fetches live data on every request, so the result reflects the current state of the page. If social platforms still show stale data, use their own cache-clearing tools (e.g. Facebook Sharing Debugger, LinkedIn Post Inspector).
