Editing and rendering run locally. Using Share uploads the diagram source to the server and stores it for the share lifecycle. Avoid sharing confidential diagrams unless you intend the link to be accessible.
The main browser operation is free and needs no sign-in. Optional cloud actions have their own access and credit requirements.
